The HEA Book Club is BACK! In case you missed it (I only announced on social media, not on the blog), our 6th book was Demi Mooreβs Memoir, ‘Inside Out‘.Β I thought it was such a powerful book, and I was completely blown away by how different her life was than what I had assumed! I was particularly drawn to the book because of the incredible co-parenting relationship she has with Bruce Willisβand I walked away feeling like I got such a great understanding of how important it is to break the cycles of dysfunction within generations of families, as well as what a strong pull addiction can have and the destruction it can cause in peopleβs lives.Β I read it so quickly and highly recommend!
But now, moving on to Book Seven!Β This month, I chose Normal People, by Sally Rooney.Β This book is just so fantastic.Β I already started it and Iβm almost finished because I just canβt put it down! Itβs a novel about a very outside-the-box love story that spans years.Β Itβs thought-provoking, sexy, heartbreaking, and the author has the most beautiful way of evoking the light and dark sentiments of complicated love.Β Iβm really excited to finish it, and to discuss this book with you guys this month!
