I normally start really decorating my home for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving! It makes me happy to go into full festive mode, and to make the whole house smell, look, and taste like The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! At this point, I’ve got some pretty great decor pieces in rotation, but I’m always looking for cute little things to add to my collection. One of my favorite things as a kid was unpacking all of the Christmas decor, and starting to decorate as a family. Going through every garland, wreath, and nativity, remembering the stories behind the pieces, and picking out our favorites is something I’ll always remember. This past summer, my dad came into town to visit, and brought our family nativity from his side of the family as a special gift! I’m so excited to put it out this year for the first time with the kiddos.

I believe it’s a great concept for New Year’s decorations. There are many possibilities for decorating a house for Christmas and New Year’s on the Internet now. My wife does not have access to the internet. What I appreciate best is how many activities you can do with your children. It will out to be a pleasurable and gratifying activity. Tell me whether you have simply interior decoration ideas or if you have articles on outside decorating. Many of my neighbors have new garlands, and someone even has a snow gun on his yard to push snow onto their grass.
