Being a bride has its stressful moments, of course, but man is it the most fun thing ever when it comes to the VIBES! I love all the sparkle, the pearl accents, the tulle, and everything WHITE! Maybe it’s because this new chapter of my life has been so fun to celebrate, but I’ve been really leaning into the bridal aspect of it all and investing in some fun pieces! I shared everything I packed for my bachelorette weekend away, but I’ve been collecting bridal pieces ever since Ian and I got engaged.

The first time I was a bride, and planning my “bridal vibe”, I was only 25 years old. So, basically a baby. I definitely felt like I had a strong sense of my own style at the time, but looking back, I hadn’t really lived with my body long enough to fully understand how to flatter my assets– let alone feel comfortable in my own skin! Since becoming a Mom, and navigating a divorce and a new love afterward, I’ve definitely grown into my womanhood so much more. My sensuality is different, and I feel so much more beautiful than I ever did in my early twenties! I feel like figuring out my bride vibes this time around has felt easier, and more effortless, and I’ve approached it with so much more confidence. I really know what I like now. I really feel the RIGHT to pick what I like now. It’s just so different being a bride at almost forty than it is being a bride in your twenties just because of the confidence alone. I’d argue it’s better in a lot of ways, but maybe that’s just me.
