I’ve been getting a lot of questions these days to share home decor pieces I love! If you haven’t noticed by now, I have a pretty eclectic home style. I LOVE really classic and timeless bones, but with a more modern twist. And I almost never met a pattern I didn’t like. Prints are kind of my thing, especially mixing prints!
I get so many questions about how to use or mix prints in your home, and I promise it isn’t as intimidating as it looks. The real key is to choose a selective color palette, and to use prints that are different, but incorporate those same few colors. Also, experiment with mixing smaller prints and bigger prints.
For example: mix a blue and white gingham or floral with a bigger blue and white print like a toile or paisley. If mixing prints with pillows, throw in a solid patterned pillow that pulls out one of the main colors you’re using in your palette to ground it all a bit more.
Today, I thought I would share some patterned decor pieces that I’m swooning over right now. Pattern play in homes is making a big comeback, and it’s a great way to freshen up your space, or give it a bit of an edge. Let me know which items are your favorites!

Just noticed this but is that art behind the desk in your living room a picture of you. It’s a cool piece!
I love mixing prints too. It’s hard to make a space seem cozy with just solids.
It’s actually a photograph by the musician Moby that my Mom bought me!
