I know this month is a month of detox for a lot of people. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still hang– and sip on a little something extra delicious. Happily Eva After to the rescue! I also wanted to concoct a little treat for my preggo Homegirls out there. (Cocktails were something I always craved during my pregnancies for some weird reason…and no I didn’t drink them. LOL) Today I’m sharing the recipes for two very different, and very yummy, guilt and alcohol-free Mocktails! Drink two or twenty– it aint no thang!
Spiced Grapefruit Fauxtini
- 3 ounces fresh Grapefruit Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Simple Syrup
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tiny pinch Nutmeg
- 1 Tablespoon Orange Juice
- 1 Cinnamon Stick (for garnish)
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain in to a chilled Martini glass, and garnish with your cinnamon swizzle stick! Enjoy irresponsibly 😉
- 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz. Fresh Orange Juice
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 2 oz. Ginger Beer
- 3 leaves Fresh Mint, diced (Plus 2 sprigs for garnish)
Pour the pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice, and diced mint leaves in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Pour over a Julep Cup piled high with crushed ice. Top with Ginger Beer, and garnish with mint sprigs. Enjoy Irresponsibly 😉
