We are screeching to a halt in front of the Coziest Era Of The Year. You heard it here first! Hibernation, Hygge, Hugs, Hearths, and Hhhhhhh-cheese are going to be all the rage for the next 8-9 weeks. And the real question is: are you prepared??? I asked myself this very question the other day, realized the answer was no, and I got serious about making sure that my Winter wardrobe reflected my newfound life choices. I told my girlfriends the other day that one of my goals in early 2026 is going to be watching television again (we’re keeping the bar low enough to hit, ok?), and I think having the clothes to reflect that is simply called “setting yourself up for success”.
I’m not always the best at shopping for cozy clothes. As a full-blown, lifelong, Fashion Girlie, when I spend money, it tends to be on more impactful street-style pieces, shoes, coats, or party LEWKS. Mostly just things I get excited about wearing outside of the house. But, these days it’s truly incredible how well-designed and ultimately CHIC the loungewear section of the internet has become! It has inspired me to step up my loungewear game, and embrace all things relaxation. In fact, maybe my word of 2026 needs to be “Relaxation”.
LOL SIKE!!! HAVE WE MET? I’m a Type A First Born Daughter, Relaxation is barely in my vocabulary. I’m working on it, though, I promise!
