Eva Amurri shares her Menswear Roundup

Admittedly, these are images of ME in menswear-inspired clothing and not pics of my lovely boyfriend or lovely ex-husband in clothes I’ve picked out. THAT SAID, I have picked out maaaaaaany a piece of clothing for them! I’m good at it! LOL. Men’s clothes are tough. Some things are too junky looking, and some things are too “fancy” for the average dude. However, most men I know do feel strongly about having a wardrobe that looks cool and pulled together, but is also comfortable and functional. And that’s totally fair! I get asked a lot by readers about my menswear recommendations, and today I thought I’d share some pieces that I absolutely love. Everything here has been tried and tested by the men in my life. I approve of and love it all. There’s definitely a time and place in a man’s wardrobe for a great sweatsuit, and there’s definitely a time and place for a great SUIT suit. Both are important. Both are listed below, along with a whole gaggle of other things. Let me know which are your faves!

My Menswear Roundup...

Italian Stretch Linen Suit

$600

I’ll start with snazzy. LOL. I got this gorgeous Italian Linen suit for Ian for his birthday this year, and I love how it fits! I love even more that Bonobos has different fits depending on body type, making it ULTRA size inclusive for guys. So cool! The quality of this suit is impeccable.

Linen Crew Neck Sweater

$99

This linen crew neck sweater is perfect for summer and transitioning into Fall. It comes in five color ways!

Knit Pique Shirt

$99

This blue button-down is so comfy to wear, has some stretch, and is cut beautifully. It’s a great addition to any guy’s wardrobe! Comes in multiple colors.

Slim Traveler Pant

$109

This camel “traveler pant” is so elegant AND comfy, and can be dressed up or down.

Flannel Bomber Jacket

$159

Every guy needs a great bomber jacket, and this flannel one is chic and uses tech fabrics.

Modern Fit Travel Blazer

$495

If you’re looking for a really sleek, well-fit suit, the suits at Reiss have always been Kyle’s favorites. It’s more of a European slim cut and comes in impeccable fabrics.

Tapered Street Joggers

$22

Old Navy has ultra-cozy joggers and sweats for men at an unbeatable price point.

Transit Jogger

$89

If you’re looking for a jogger that can be worn more as pants outside the house, these are the best. The pocket zips so the contents are more secure!

Cool Cotton Mid-Length 6” Boxer Brief

$34

These cool cotton boxer briefs are insanely soft and comfy! Your guy will flip for these!

Organic Cotton Pocket T-Shirt

$19.95

In terms of classic Pocket T-Shirts that come in a bunch of colors and hold up nicely at a good price point, I go back again and again to Gap. These are simple, fit well, and give me major JFK Jr. Vibes

Second Skin Comfort Polo

$74

These polos are so soft and flattering, and need minimal pressing. They come out of the wash ready to go!

All Season Jeans

$99

I’m a big fan of Bonobos jeans because they are highly modifiable depending on your body type, and are very size-inclusive. Once a guy finds their size on the site, they can save the settings to only browse things that will fit THEM. Such a great idea! Lots of washes and weights available, too.

Cashmere Crewneck Sweater

$128

J.Crew men’s cashmere crew neck sweaters or a cult favorite for a reason. I LOVE the versatile weight of them, and they’re super soft. Plus, they come in almost every color.

Towelling Hoodie

$260

if you’re looking for a more pulled-together sweats set, these pieces from Reiss are so so cool. Any guy would love these!

Second Skin Long Sleeve Crew Neck

$58

These Second Skin long sleeve shirts are the comfiest ever, and can be worn for layering, or on their own.

Nike Air Max 90

$130

Every guy needs a good pair of Air Max sneakers. These are just retro enough, and super comfy

The Driving Loafer

$185

Ian has worn these driving loafers every single day since he got them! They’re so comfy, made from sustainable materials, AND you can toss them in the wash. They come in so many colors, too! I want to get him another pair for Christmas.

Miles Weekender Duffel Bag

$200

I got this chic duffel for Ian for Christmas, and he uses it every time we go away. It’s made at the same factory as Shinola and Prada, for a fraction of the cost.

Bartlett Pebbled Leather Backpack

$100

This pebbled leather backpack is also a must, and is an investment piece built to last!
