My Favorite Outdoor Entertaining Pieces

Eva Amurri shares her favorite outdoor entertaining pieces

It feels amazing to finally be able to enjoy outdoor entertaining again! Even though many COVID restrictions have lifted, we have some friends and family members who still prefer socializing outside, and I’m here for it! I’ve always loved outdoor entertaining, especially with kids because it allows for them to run around and get their energy out, while the adults hang, sip, eat, and laugh. I designed my patio with exactly this in mind, and it’s nice to invite friendly faces over to enjoy it with us!

I’ve added some great outdoor entertaining pieces to my collection for the summer, and I thought today would be a great opportunity to share some of my favorite pieces! I’m including new things I found, and pieces I have had for a while and use again and again. I’m a total believer in mixing high and low. Sometimes one or two really luxe pieces can elevate everything else around them and make ALL your other entertaining pieces look expensive!

Check out my faves below, and let me know which are your faves!

Outdoor Entertaining Pieces Must-Haves...

Vera for Anthropologie Periwinkle Bamboo Melamine Pitcher

$12

This melamine pitcher is a recent purchase and SO pretty! I love that it won’t break if the kids knock it over, and that it has a lid so bugs and bees can’t investigate my lemonade!

Opalhouse™ Plastic Wave Texture Tall Tumbler

$2

I found these cool glasses at Target, and I love them! They’re not glass so even the kids can use them!

Opalhouse™ Bamboo Spun Serving Tray

$15

This bamboo serving tray looks way more expensive than it actually is. I got two for summer entertaining!

Whitewashed Rattan Hurricane

$148-$348

I have a couple sets of these gorgeous rattan hurricanes and I always use them when I entertain outdoors in the evenings. They are so so beautiful and luxe in person, I always get compliments on them!

Dip-Dyed Handle Server

$128

I just bought this for serving appetizers when I entertain. I love how elegant it is!

Opalhouse™ Embroidered Macaw Square Throw Pillow

$20

I wanted a little pillow refresh on the patio so I got a couple of new ones from Target! They’re not technically outdoor pillows but they’re super inexpensive so I don’t mind if they get worn out after a year or so.

Wine Enthusiast Fusion Infinity White Wine Glasses (Set of 4)

$56.99

I use these shatterproof wine glasses for adult drinks out on the patio. They don’t cloud, and you can put them in the dishwasher! A MUST!

S/6 Sunprint Napkins, Blue/White

$90

I’m in love with these stunning cocktail napkins! They’d make an amazing gift, too.

Vera for Anthropologie Perennial Bamboo Melamine Dinner Plate

$6

I love these gorgeous melamine plates for outdoor dining– they’re from the same collection as my new pitcher!

Picnic Wine Caddy

$38

How cute is this picnic wine caddy?! Perfect for Summer!

Rainier Galvanized Storage Cart

$99

This galvanized bar cart is a chic way to organize cocktail service outdoors, plus it’s under $100 whereas most bar carts are in the $250+ range!

Blue Dipped Ceramic Citronella Candle

$38-$88

These citronella candles are pretty enough to have out on display, but will keep bugs at bay while you entertain!
