My Collection of Hair Accessories

Eva Amurri shares a peek into her collection of hair accessories

A frequently asked question from readers is where I get all of my hair accessories, particularly my headbands.

I’ll admit that pre-children, the idea of wearing a headband seemed crazy to me. I had NEVER worn one after age seven or eight.

But in a rush, surrounded by children, sleepless nights, and bad hair days, I quickly realized how mistaken I was. A great headband can be a great hair day completely on its own! The same goes for a beautiful hair tie or scrunchie — they can turn a plain old ponytail in to something that looks intentional…and stylish!

Today I thought I would share my collection of hair accessories with you guys. I think they’re all great investments since you can wear them time and time again. I even share headbands and scrunchies with Marlowe sometimes…

Let me know which ones are your faves!

6 Pack of Headbands

Amazon

This multipack is so affordable, and I’ve worn all the styles tons of times. They really hold up!

Satin turban knot headband

J.Crew

You can’t go wrong with a simple black satin headband. It goes with anything!

Bow scrunchie in gingham

J.Crew

I love a bow scrunchie to gussie up the simplest ponytail. These come in a variety of color-ways every season!

Turban Knot Headband with frayed edge

J.Crew

I recently got this one, and love it. It goes with everything!

Knotted Velvet Scrunchie

Free People

I’m really obsessed with these velvet scrunchies. I got them in a few colors and then couldn’t resist adding more and more. I love making high ballerina buns with these!

Cloud Headband

Shashi

A bedazzled headband is a thing of beauty. These Shashi ones come in a variety of colors.

Padded Rhinestone Headband

Amazon

Speaking of rhinestone headbands, this one is a steal and dresses up any LEWK. It comes in lots of color-ways also!

Satin braided headband

J.Crew

I just ordered this hot pink braided version. I can’t wait to style it!

Mustard Embellished Headband

Namjosh

Namjosh makes the most gorgeous beaded headbands that are a bit wider and feel almost like a head piece. They’re beautiful for a more dressed up look!

Turban knot headband in gingham

J.Crew

I find this turban knot style headband to be so versatile. I wear it with a low bun (hair in a middle part), or with a blowout to hold my hair back away from my face.

Marseille Pony Bow

Namjosh

I have this black pony bow and adore it — I wear it constantly during holiday season! I particularly love it as a half up half down look with my crown teased!

3 pc Wide Cross Knotted Headbands

Amazon

This is another great multipack option — I love the chic yet simple color-ways.

Discotec Headband

Shashi

I have this headband and wear it more than I ever thought I would. It goes with anything!
