Eva Amurri shares her Maine Packing List

We’re on our annual vacation to Maine, and it couldn’t be coming at a better time. Ian and I are really craving some days in the woods and out on the lake with the kiddos to recharge our batteries. If you’ve read any of my blog posts about our family trips to Maine, you know they’re all about days spent splashing in the lake, hiking, and exploring the cute neighboring towns. We normally eat lunches at our house and then venture out for early dinners with the kiddos. If we’re lucky, we get some time on a boat or two!

While some may view Maine (and a packing list) as Preppy-Chic or more buttoned up or conservative, my Maine suitcase is always filled with comfortable and effortless clothing. Lots of athleisure, cute pajamas, and easy breezy linen pieces and cotton T-shirts that can be mixed and matched to my heart’s content. Luckily, we have a washing machine at the house, so I’m able to truly repurpose outfits and outfit pieces. I also pack lots of swimwear for our hours spent out on the lake! A good sunscreen and an effective mosquito repellent are also a must. Otherwise, even my skincare gets pared down! I don’t wear much makeup when we’re up there, and I focus on super hydrating and nourishing serums and night creams to let my skin breathe. I always feel rejuvenated when we head home! Well, at least until we embark on that 7-hour drive with three kids. Then, I need a Margarita. LOL. Here’s the list of what I’m packing for Maine this year.
