We leave today for The Dominican Republic, and to say our family is excited would be an understatement!!! Ian and I booked this trip almost a year ago, and it will be our first official family vacation with Ian! It will also be my first beach vacation in about four years. I cannot wait to visit the beautiful Dominican Republic and swim in the ocean, walk on the beach, and soak up the sun! I’m really hoping we have good weather there, I think we all need some Vitamin D. I chose an all-inclusive resort (not sponsored) because I loved the experience of going to an all-inclusive with the kids in the past. It’s just so much easier for us at this phase of life. Plus, they supposedly have an awesome kids’ club– so Ian and I get drop them in a camp-like setting and walk the beach just the two of us, or grab an hour of quiet by the pool. If we love the resort, I will definitely share all about it!

The kids have outgrown a lot of their summer clothes, so I had to buy them some things to take on this vacation. Today, I thought I’d share a little list of all the cute items I found for them to take on our trip. We’re spending Easter there as well, so I made sure to pack a nice Easter outfit for dinner for each of them. It’s a tradition for us to dress up for Easter, and I wasn’t going to let that slide on vacay! I loved picking out their outfits. I know it’s probably not much longer that they’ll let me do it…and even a shorter amount of time that they’ll let me match them to each other. I am fully committed while I can be!
