This week I’m sharing a pretty DIY that’s perfect for a sweet and personal Valentine’s Day gift!  All you need is a quick trip to the craft store, and half an hour later you’ll have a charming flower covered alphabet letter!  I think these letters are perfect for a little girl’s room, or even a Bridal or Baby Shower. I decided to make a couple floral letters for Valentine’s Day for Marlowe and her BFF, Camille.  I think these would look great jumbo sized, too!_1040692

You Will Need:

  • Wooden or Paper Maché Alphabet Letter
  • Hot glue gun with glue inserts
  • Faux Flowers
  • Sharp Scissors
  • Craft store bird

Begin by trimming the buds off of the flowers.  You can cut them with very sharp scissors, or some of the fake flowers have heads that you can twist off to separate from the wire stem.  Next, place your biggest buds on your letter.  Decide where you’d like the bigger sizes, and then fill in with the smaller buds.  You can use all one size if you’d like, but I like the natural and organic feeling when the flowers are varied!  After gluing all your flowers to cover the front of the letter, carefully pull the stray strands of dried glue away.  Lastly, glue your little birdie right on top!
