Welcome to the “Upstairs” portion of the Happily Eva After Home Tour! I’m sure you can tell by these pictures that color and pattern are so not my thing– Ha! I kid, I kid. But seriously, I feel the most at ease in a light and colorful home that utilizes a mix of textures. To me, the most elegant woman always looks like she’s not taking herself too seriously– I feel the same way about home decor! And romance, for the record. As with the Downstairs, these pictures are meant to be a scroll-through experience. I will do my best to answer your questions if you’re curious about specifics! Welcome to my Happy Place…
So gorgeous! Would you mind sharing where you got that gorgeous quilt and Love You pillow? I also love your children’s table and chairs.
Yes …quilt …love ….please tell us where to
get it???
Beautiful home! What color blue is on the walls in the room that seems to look into a sunroom with the gorgeous plant in it? Perfect blue!
You have such a fantastic eye for style, both clothes and interior design! I love all the colors you’ve incorporated, its so lovely and well done, but has a great homey feel where you can relax and enjoy the space. Thanks for sharing.
Hi,
Thanks for taking us on that tour! Your house really is amazing!
One question is, what is what 🙂
Which is your masterbedroom? The dark one or the yellow-grey one?
Thanks
Gianna
In your master I see you got creative with your storage. What system did you use to put that together? I too am in need of more closet space.
Hi Kendra!
Yes, closet space was a MUST. LOL. That unit was one we put in, by California Closets. I really liked working with them, actually– and the closet turned out great! I even have super deep shoe drawers to store my shoe collection (a SUPER must!)

Thank you for sharing your bright and breezy abode-so elegant and cozy! Could I please ask what paint colour you used for the master bedroom? It’s lovely!
Cheers from Canada!
xo
Hi Ariel!
The paint in the master is a color called Grey Dove (or Dove Grey?) by Benjamin Moore. You should be able to recognize it based on the name.

Thanks Eva! ☺️
OMG OMG OMG! Love love love. Literally everything. The colors, the pictures, the monkeys. All of it!
Thanks for opening your home and sharing! It’s simply beautiful!
Love the monkeys! Is it a stencil? And where can we purchase it? Your home is beautiful like you and your mama ?
Hi Glenda!
Thanks so much for the kind words!
The monkeys are actually a french hand-drawn wallpaper that was gifted to us. I’m not sure where you can buy it, but you may be able to google search it?

I’m with Glenda – where are the monkeys from? Thanks!
Hi Amanda!

I love your use of color.
Those stenciled monkeys!! And the little table and chairs. What a stylish room.
Thank you, Arlene!
The monkeys are actually wallpaper! And those little table and chairs were a total steal– I found them on Gilt.com for half off. The set was originally over $400!! It’s an Italian brand I believe
Obsessed with the peace sign light hanging over the couch. Where did you find that?
Hi Megan!
We actually had the peace sign made by a local artist in LA. I bet they have something like it on Etsy that you could purchase!
Beautiful! Brave soul too for the lamp by the crib. My toddlers would find a way to use it as an escape route from their crib. Or just knock it over ?.
Hi Courtney!
Ha! Yes, we have yet to experience a crib jail brake via the lamp! But I wouldn’t discount it…our toddler is crafty…
Thank you for sharing these pictures. I love all the colors and contrast that is utilized. I especially love the peace sign! I think it is so important to utilize colors, it especially helps me when I am studying or trying to concentrate.
Thank you for sharing 🙂
Thanks! We had that peace sign made for that space, and it encourages us to relax, even when we feel crazed! ha!

I’m in love with the seashell bedside lamps – where can I find them? I also agree with other comments; the blue in that room is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for allowing us into your home 🙂
Hi Heather!
The lamps are by Jonathan Adler. I built the entire bedroom around them because I loved them so much too!! You can find them here!

I am 30, but I desperately want the pink lamp that is in your toddler’s room.

Love the photos! Your house is lovely, but what I love most is it looks like a home. A lot of times when you get glimpses of people’s houses, it looks like no one lives there. But yours has a very family centered quality! Love, love, love!
Thanks so much, Kelly! That’s definitely what I was going for 🙂

OMG your home is beautiful! I adore the ‘marlowe’ wooden blocks on the bookcase! Where did you get them?
Again such a wonderful home, thank you so much for sharing!
Love it all! I use a lot of color myself. Where did you find the tie-dye lampshades or did you make them? I gotta find those or something similar. LOVE THEM!
I absolutely LOVE the white lamps with the blue/green/gold shades. It looks like water color. Please, you must tell me where you got them.
Beautiful home! You’ve done a wonderful job and should feel very proud. I would have needed a designer. Take care.
LOVE! I know you are onto house #2 in Connecticut, but where did you get the night stand tables for both your master and spare bedroom? The white ones….love them!
Where did you find the lamps with the multi colored shades?
Love your blog!
