Eva Amurri shares her denim indigo table

It’s been a while since I did an entertaining post of any kind, the reasons for which are probably obvious. LOL. I haven’t exactly been entertaining! I have recently hit the threshold, however, of consciously making my space beautiful…even if it’s just for me and my boyfriend. It’s so much nicer to sit at a beautifully set table.

In perusing place settings online recently, I’ve noticed a trend…

So many designers are leaning into a denim and indigo color palette that is super moody and gorgeous. Some pieces are patterned, like the ones I bought, but others have the prettiest textures and have a really hand-glazed feel. I’ve been loving these inky hues that are as appropriate in these chilly and snuggly months as they are paired with crisp white linens and long tapered candles in the spring and summer.

Maybe it’s my decorative “blue period”, but these pieces just feel so right for these times. Today I thought I would share some of my favorite pieces from this trend, in a variety of price points. I hope you love them as much as I do!

My Denim + Indigo Tabletop Favorites...

Crate & Barrel Mai 9.5" Blue Floral Bowl

$19.95

These blue floral bowls come in two different patterns and sizes, and I’m so in love with them. They’re beautifully made, and the pattern looks like a Japanese block print in the prettiest inky blue. I bought pieces from the whole collection because I love them so much. I especially love how the similar prints mix so nicely together.

Crate & Barrel Mai Blue Floral Platter

$21.95

This little tray is a part of the same collection, and it’s a great piece to try out if you’re looking for just a touch of the trend without going too far.

Opalhouse™ Melamine Cereal Bowl

$3

These blue melamine cereal bowls in organic shapes are stunning! And unbreakable so even your kids can eat off of chic servewear.

Opalhouse™ Dinner Plate Blue

$3

These plates are part of the same melamine collection and would make a gorgeous set for outdoor dining as well.

Crate & Barrrel Mercer Denim Dinner Plate

$5.95

This “denim” dinner plate in a cornflower blue color is so versatile! I can just imagine it with a floral block-print napkin from Serena and Lily in the summer months.

Crate & Barrel Maison Cobalt Blue 4-Piece Place Setting

$55.95

If you’re interested in a more classic use of Indigo, this set is killer. I love that it can be dressed up or down for a more simple or a more formal table.

Serena & Lily Bar Harbor Bone Inlay Tray

$598

I’m lusting over this bone inlay tray! It reminds me of the perfect pair of vintage denim…it goes with anything!

These textured stoneware plates are from the Levi’s collab with Target and are so chic! The entire collection is gorgeous.

I can’t get over this super chic baby feeding set. The opposite of the normally too-bright baby styles!

$36-$54

I NEED these outdoor Italian tumblers for cocktails Al Fresco this summer!

Williams Sonoma Linen Double Hemstitch Tablecloth
