With the vaccine rollout upon us, a lot of summer weddings are BACK ON! Albeit slightly smaller and socially distanced. But still! I’m so excited for people to be able to celebrate their marriages again, and I think people have gotten so creative over the last year to figure out how to celebrate weddings and special milestones while not being able to celebrate in person. 

There are gorgeous micro-weddings I’ve seen that feel just as special and personal as big weddings I’ve been to in the past. To be honest, there is something ultra-personal about getting to say your vows in a really small-scale setting with just a few people in attendance. Depending on what the individuals involved feel comfortable with, there is even a little bit of relief you can feel if you’re somebody who gets uncomfortable with a lot of eyes on you. 

Whatever a Bride or Groom’s preference, it’s nice to know that Lovebirds these days will start to have more choices as we head into a bit more of an open society again. 

Interestingly enough, I get asked pretty often about wedding guest attire, and what I’d wear for warm-weather weddings. I love this question, because I always get so excited to celebrate the people I love—and their love for one another—and dressing for a wedding can be so fun! I really love wearing a beautiful dress as a wedding guest, and I always make sure it’s something that I can wear again a few different ways so it’s a good investment. 

I have a few little events to go to this Summer, so I decided I’d do some research and round up a selection of my favorite Summer Wedding Attire for anybody else that’s looking. I even included a couple of beautiful and inexpensive wedding dresses that I would wear if I were getting married in an intimate outdoor wedding this summer….not that I am, BUT a girl can fantasize ok?!
