Surprise! I’m leaving for Tulum this morning! I’m actually so excited for this trip for a few reasons.  Not only do I LOVE Mexico (Just ask Marlowe, she recently exclaimed in a preschool questionnaire that her favorite place to go is Mexico…ha!) but Tulum has been a special place for me for many years.  We visited on family vacations far before I had a family of my own, and I even celebrated my best friend’s thirtieth birthday there with a group of friends. It was the most fun trip I’ve ever been on.  Now, Kyle and I are going there together for a very special reason: Summit Tulum!

Summit is a super cool community of entrepreneurs, CEO’s and industry leaders– and it’s invite-only.  Which made both Kyle and I SO excited to be invited this year! They hold really amazing conferences all over the world, which are three day immersive experience with the overall goal of self discovery, community, learning, and shared dynamic experiences.  The program involves performances, talks, art, culinary experiences, wellness, and impactful activations in the local community that helps educate culturally.  I feel so grateful to be included in such an interesting group, and it’s going to be a really great couples’ experience to be immersed in it together.  Everyone I have met who has gone says it’s amazing! I’ll be posting about it a bit while there, and definitely once I get home– but suffice to say I’m gearing up for a few days of learning, exploring, networking, and engaging in a gorgeous location. I’m sure I’ll come away really inspired!

For this trip, I actually had a super tough time packing.  I wanted to bring carry-on, which is always a bit tricky for me.  On top of that, Tulum is such a low-key, relaxed vibe and very boho.  But it’s an entrepreneurial conference, and I’ll be representing my brand.  So how to look profesh, and boho, and–oh yeah– take in to consideration 100 degree temperatures? LOL.  There will also be a lot of active seminars like acro-yoga and meditation! I’ll just say I tried my best, and I’ll definitely report back and let you know how my packing skills were.

Stay tuned from IG stories and updates from the road!
