Eva Amurri shares her stocking stuffer finds

Christmas is around the corner, and if you’re like me, you’ve started your hunt for Stocking Stuffers! My goal is always to get all my stocking stuffers ordered and ready earlier rather than later in the holiday season. The reason for this early ordering? Why, it’s a traumatizing experience of course!!

A couple of houses ago, we were listing our house for sale, and we were in and out all the time for showings. The two oldest kids were super little, and I was still in that Mom Fog. I was in it big time. I’m still not completely sure what happened, but in the lead-up to Christmas, I bought a few things at little stores for the kids’ stockings. Then, I’m pretty sure I had a dream that I ordered the rest of the stocking stuffers on Amazon. I say “pretty sure” because that sounds completely insane, and I know that. Nevertheless, what was absolutely real is that I went to the closet on Christmas Eve to grab the Amazon box of stocking stuffers that absolutely did not exist, and proceeded to have a complete panic attack. There was nothing to put in their stockings! A late-night run was made to a 24-hour CVS, but the panic of that moment didn’t leave me for years. Now I make sure I’m prepared WAY in advance by ordering all of my stocking stuffers early for the whole family. And I pinch myself when I’m ordering them, too, just to double-check. LOL.

I find the hardest to shop for in terms of stockings are definitely little kids and Men! This year I’m putting together a roundup of great ideas in those categories…just in case you’re looking!
