I recently wore this outfit to an afternoon shopping event benefiting The Charlotte and Gwenyth Gray Foundation.  If you haven’t heard, these two brave and very young girls are fighting Batten’s disease, which is a highly rare genetic disorder with currently close to no research.  They are aiming to raise 15 Million dollars and hopefully be able to come close to a cure within the Gray Girls’ lifetimes, but time is running out.  It’s extremely sad stuff that makes you really count your blessings.  I was more than happy to take my credit card out at Switch Boutique, where they were donating a portion of sales to the foundation.

I chose to wear this jersey maxi dress primarily to mask my (extra cute) walking boot, but I also loved the slit feature and the fact that it felt pulled together somehow.  I had to run home and do bath and bedtime right afterwards, so this dress flowed seamlessly from work to Mommy Duties!  I love the brand Monrow, they also have really beautifully made tshirts.  I paired the dress with some industrial-feeling bronze accessories to toughen it up a little bit, and slipped on my new favorite sunglasses that I’ve been wearing to death.  See below for full credits!

It must be comfy, it’s classified as a nightgown on Nordstrom’s link! Party to home to bed!
