Eva Amurri Martino of Happily Eva After shares her favorite nude colored pieces for spring

This spring, I’ve been loving all the different nude tones that seem to everywhere recently! I think nude clothing and accessories are so chic, and can be the best backdrop for a gorge makeup look or pop of color.  They’re even super fab in a monochrome scheme. I was at Gap shopping for some things for the kids, and I came up on this nude denim jacket and just flipped– Gap has some super chic things right now in the women’s department! It inspired me to snap up a few other nude style pieces, and I thought I would share them here with you guys today.

In other news, our new backyard is my favorite place ever.  It gets the best sun, and I can see people walking back and forth to town.  There are always kids coming through the yard to see if Marlowe and Major are home to play…just basically the suburban fantasies I first had when we decided to move from Los Angeles.  Plus the DAFFODILS are in full bloom! Gah! Too picturesque.  I wanted to take these pics in the yard for a little change of scenery.  Oh and last thing– the nude lipstick I put below is the best one EVER for anyone searching for that nude lip holy grail…

beautiful yard! Do you guys have a pool in this house. It seems like you all have adjusted nicely to living right in town. I like my privacy I think I might have a hard time with that. 🙂

    • Thanks! So we actually purposefully wanted a house without a pool. We just felt like living in CT, and having pool weather three months a year at best, that maintaining it wasn’t a great use of our money. We are much happier now without!
On the privacy front– I felt the SAME WAY. In fact, that’s why we only looked at homes in the woods the first time around! Then I realized how engrained in my DNA regular person-to-person interaction is…it made me feel anxious and depressed being so isolated. And now I’m SO happy in this current set up. It was a big learning lesson for me though!
