Body scrub is a beauty item that I almost ALWAYS make myself. Not only is it beyond easy, crazy cheap, and satisfying– but I firmly believe that the DIY body scrubs are actually more gentle for your skin since they use all natural ingredients. Since Fall is officially in full swing, I thought it would be fun to make a body scrub that was inspired by the fan favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte!
This scrub is so delicious to smell and uses such simple ingredients. I love how the sugar and coffee grounds really buff and clear my skin– and the coconut oil is so moisturizing. You don’t even need body cream after using this in the shower! This DIY body scrub makes an excellent gift or party favor, and is so easy to mix up in bigger batches. I can’t wait to hear how you like it! The recipe below makes one mason jar…
Ingredients…
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup ground coffee beans
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Spice
If your coconut oil is in solid form, heat it slowly in the microwave, 10 seconds at a time until liquid. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix together well. Spoon into a mason jar, and use it within a month!
Hi, quick question: What are the ingredients of the pumpkin spice mix? Do you use it for both sweet and non-sweet (sorry, don’t know the english word) food? I’m not sure, if I can find that exact thing in Germany…
Thanks!
Really love this recipe for body scrub. I have tried to do simple body scrubs and use some almond oil or coconut. I like sugar in the raw also, for like foot scrub. The idea of scenting some scrub pumpkin spice sounds really good. Its aromatherapy and great for skin and winter months when out skin needs extra TLC. Ty
