Now that the weather has been holding out in true Spring fashion, I’ve been spending more and more time outside.  One of the things that initiated our move was our discovery of a house for sale walking distance to downtown Westport, and we have been patting ourselves on the back for taking the plunge with the lifestyle change every single day! It’s amazing how much we needed to feel more in the mix.  Our yard is still pretty big, but now there is so much activity all around us in the neighborhood.

The other day, we all got together to help clean up our elderly neighbor’s yard for her– and to plant some more flowers in her garden.  All in all, there were seven adults, and fifteen kids helping. From the same street! It’s moments like this that I fully rejoice in small town America, and feel we are exactly where we need to be as a family in this phase of life.  Oh, and right now I’m loving T-shirt dresses.  Sharing some of my favorites in the collage below!
