I’ve learned a lot this summer about about uncomfortable weather– namely 100+ degree heat! Of course, as an adult you can assess quickly how to cool yourself down and make life a little more comfortable, but with a baby things can get pretty challenging.
I had to get creative this summer with finding fun and interesting ways to keep Marlowe occupied while the crazy heatwave was underway. It’s impossible to stay inside all day with a crawling (and walking!) baby, so I figured out a few simple ways of keeping Marlowe happy and safe in our backyard. With summer showing no sign of slowing down any time soon (at least in my neck of the woods) I’m sharing my six favorite water toys to stay cool outdoors (without using a ton of water!)

My 1 year old daughter (who never sits still the little angel lol) absolutely LOVES her water table!!! She would play there all day if she could 🙂 Great ideas!!
