This transitional weather has me loving cozy vests. They’re like a hug, with your arms free.  Ha! And what is cozier than a winter white fur vest?! It goes with everything.  Not to mention it can help you take a seriously basic outfit to the next level as an eye-catching statement piece!  I fell in love with this Diane Von Furstenberg vest as soon as I saw it, and today I’m showing you how I’m styling it in three very different ways.  Truthfully I could think of a way to wear this every day.  I’ll never let go, Jack! I’ll never let go!!!!

Farmer’s Market Weekend

I love how this vest glams up a simple striped swing dress and boots.  On the weekends (when have Lowie by myself) I always choose function– but it’s nice to have one piece of clothing I can swoop on and instantly upgrade my look!  I paired it with some motorcycle boots, and a cute clutch that plugs in to recharge your phone while you shop. Genius! PS- There are denim shorts under there, I swear…

Baby Shower Lunch

I love dressing for Baby Showers, because they always call on my absolute favorite thing to wear: a pretty daytime dress! I love this easy knit grey dress, paired with grey suede heels, an oxblood purse, and the beautiful fur vest to pull it all together and make it feel special! This could also be bangin’ as an office look, by the way…

Seventies Vibes

I gotta be honest, I’m all for the Seventies comeback! So many designers have been featuring the decade in their collections recently– and I love the effortless glam of the pieces! Pull it off (without looking like you’re going to a costume party) by sticking with basics.  This soft clingy turtleneck, flare jeans, fur vest, and accessories with Seventies flavor help me feel like I’m movin’ and groovin’, baby!

    Hello Eva,
It is fun to appreciate new fashion suggestions that you share here at your blog.
I have missed for a LONG time the earth tones of the 1970’s as well as the neon colors of the 1980’s. Maybe the 80’s look will be next, I CANT wait!
Also kudos to you with your photography team. Very good lighting choices!
The photo of you looking up in your bright framed glasses got me thinking Eva may be a) looking up at the sky in 1970’s glasses and having a full “here comes the sun do duh do do, here comes the sun….its all right”…. , from George Harrison (nice harmonics in that song!) or b) you have just seen your disco ball that you had in the closet for YEARS, and you are finally feeling groovy that you can admit “I love 70’s music as well as disco music, so I am bringing that out of the closet and it feels good to dust that off and get my full disco on!”
We know you love the 70’s fashion, so why hide the disco ball right?! 🙂

    Dear Eva,

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog, having stumbled upon it several month ago. However, I have to say how disappointed and saddened I am to see that you’re wearing rabbit fur. Animal cruelty is horrible and disgusting, and I expected more from you.

    Hi Eva,
I love your blog. Recently discovered it. Though I was a bit disappointed with this particular post. I wish that the piece would have been made from fake fur as there are so many luxury items available that only use fake material. You are so beautiful as is, you don’t need to wear fur.

    Eva,
You are such a darling and your site is so creative and welcoming, but please, no fur. Animal cruelty is not fashionable, so please no longer wear fur. You are too classy for fur.

I usually don’t leave comments, but here I had to. It’s 2016, there is no need to wear rabbit fur and participate in that type of cruelty. Eva is stunning and beautiful without the rabbit fur, it only ruins this style. Just check out a behind the scenes video of the fur industry if there are any doubts. It’s shocking, and I’m sure that once Eva is informed, she will never want to wear fur again.

Eva, your fur vest is EVERYTHING!!! I love the look and think you pulled it off well effortlessly in all the pics. The best is the last one with the jeans and turtleneck…..you’re channeling Peggy Lipton in Mod Squad. Are you sure there you have on shorts under #1?? Lol!!!!

The second I saw fur in the title, I knew the meow cats would be out with the “I can’t believe you’re wearing fur and oh no, not fur” comments. It’s 2016, let people be great wearing what the hell they want. It’s not like she bought you one as a gift….get over yourselves. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it!!!

Eva, I really love your blog and think you’re beautiful and phenomenal!!!
