A couple months ago, I cut five inches off of my hair! I had been coveting the “Lob” that so many people have been sporting lately, and I’m so glad I did. Before my cut, my hair took forever to blow out, which was seriously cutting in to my ability to look and feel great (with such minimal “me time”). After cutting my hair (I requested blunt ends), I found this styling technique. It has really brought my Lob to the next level and made me LOVE my new haircut! Watch the video above for a how-to tutorial for my cute and easy textured Lob Hairstyle. Click through the products below to see the products I use to prep and curl my hair. Plus, my fave dry shampoo!

Your haircut is gorgeous. I love the technique you used to style it, I’m not good at styling my hair, but I think I can pull that off! Thanks for sharing.
I too just cut off about 5 inches and got my first lob. I have been struggling with getting this look but was using the curling iron the opposite direction with the barrel at the top. I loved watching your tutorial because now I get it, and the part where you leave about an inch out of the barrel is so helpful. I can’t wait to practice this weekend. Loving your blog so much. Huge fan!
Love your hair style! Great tip! Thank you!
Thanks so much for this tutorial. I’m not gifted with hair styling, and this makes the steps easy to follow. One question — What heat setting do you use? Thanks!!
