If you follow me on Snapchat, I’m sure you’ve seen that my surroundings for the past couple of months have been rather woodsy– at least much more woodsy than I am used to as a born and raised City Kid! It’s been pretty beautiful to be surrounded by nature, even during this crazy Spring game off thaw-and-freeze that we’ve been hit with. You really notice the elegance of the natural world during the colder months when the trees and plants are at their most vulnerable– there’s a resilience and grace to the stripped down forms that the landscape takes on at this time of year. It’s pretty inspiring to be around, and has me craving that juxtaposition of toughness and charm that I think New Yorkers develop as a second nature. Two of my favorite New York designers are the adorable design team behind Baja East, an up-an-coming label that is taking the Fashion world by storm. The luxurious yet urban feel of the line was the perfect fit to have some fun against this beautiful chilly Spring backdrop!
