2021 is the year of the Shacket! Tell me I’m wrong. Everywhere I look, brands I love are producing the cutest shackets ever and making me want to revamp my entire wardrobe to include an entire section just for shackets. For those of you who missed the memo: Shacket = Shirt + Jacket, and is pretty much the most forgiving and cozy wardrobe item possible. You can wear it as outerwear, or layer with it for super cold days! I first heard about the Shacket last Fall and bought one. I wore it all year through winter and into Spring. This Fall I was determined to invest in a few more for the upcoming chilly weather, and there are so many amazing options out there! I even found some super cute ones for kids. I feel like it’s basically the shirt equivalent of Boyfriend Jeans– just a great staple to have in your wardrobe in case you feel like an easy outfit that doesn’t require much thought and is sexy in an understated way. I think Shackets pair great with leather leggings and boots, or even layered over a knit dress. Here are some of my favorite options!
