The Summer sun has finally come out to stay, and it’s been majorly inspiring me. With the weather so lovely it’s been making me want to actually getting dressed (heels included!) and trot around town to shop and grab a bite. Usually when I “go to town” I’m the one in sneakers and a messy bun, dragging a few bags around and trying to get from one place to another as quickly as possible. But now I want to feel feminine again! I want to put on clothing that makes me feel great, shoes that elongate my legs (thank you, shoes), adorn myself with fabulous accessories and just luxuriate in being a Woman. Can you tell I’ve been pent up in Winter mode for far too long? Ha! This past week I explored New Canaan, which is a gorgeous little town in Connecticut. Amazing restaurants and some truly adorable Kids’ stores (including a Crewcuts! Fave!). An Iced Chai Latté with coconut milk topped off the afternoon.

I love bright colors year round, but this past week they’ve been really calling me. I just adore this top and vest from CO+CO (designed by Model and Mama Extraordinaire Coco Rocha!) and the way that these olive green maternity shorts act as a neutral to balance it all. Even though I got them during my last pregnancy, these shorts are my new favorite maternity piece– and I’m sure I’ll be wearing them all Summer long!
