By the time Summer finally “started” this year I was so relieved to be out of the dark hole of Winter 2018 that I wanted to fully celebrate with an outdoor glow-up!! I’ve been loving how our outdoor area has been looking recently but I figured it was time to make the summer season feel much more summery, and specific to the season. I wanted a bit more of a special feeling to my home for entertaining. I’ve been a fan of Frontgate since forever, so I thought it would be fun to choose a few items and transform my space!
We used to get the Frontgate catalogs when I was growing up, and I would spend hours looking at them– flipping through the pages and selecting pieces for my dream home. I’d even imagine I had a beach house or something and dog ear pages for it. LOL. I guess you could say I’ve always been in to home decor! I still think they have the best of the best when it comes to chic and stylish decor, especially for outdoor spaces.
For my little outdoor glow up this year, I wanted to add some fun, summery pillows, some new pool towels, and a gorgeous wreath for my front door. I love pink, and Marlowe and I both love flamingos– so I thought I would go for a fun flamingo and palm theme. I love how the pinks and greens play off of the black and white furniture that I already had. I even found some chic black and white striped lumbar pillows for my Adirondack chairs!
For the fire pit, I chose a more graphic flamingo print and a complimenting tassel pillow, and then a couple of black and white striped lumbar pillows for my Adirondack chairs. For the pool loungers, I did a different flamingo print lumbar pillow and some gorgeous, huge towels with a palm print. They also had some really cool Funboy pool floats that you can attach together in any configuration you like. If you have up to six you can even create a big flower shape for everyone to hang out on them together! So fun.
My favorite piece was the hydrangea wreath (similar) – I’m so obsessed with the white and pink faux blooms, and I love how it makes our black door pop. I can’t believe the hydrangeas in the wreath aren’t real– they really do look incredible. It makes me so happy to have an outdoor set of decor that I can bring out every season and that makes the whole vibe of our home more summery. Glow up complete!
J’adore vraiment votre coronne de fleur!Extra 🙂
