I’ll be honest, I’m not buying a ton of new pieces for fall and winter, but I am getting some things that I know for a fact I can mix and match — and that make for a smart investment! My priority is looking pulled together, but in a way that allows me to be as active as I need to, balancing work and #MomLife.
It’s also gearing up to be a pretty warm fall, so I’m making sure to only look at pieces that can be layered and worn in varying ways. I’m so excited about the pieces I’ve found, so I thought I would share them with you today! I threw in a new Pajama set I bought also because let’s face it: We are all doing more weekend hang time than brunch time these days!
Let me know which pieces are your faves! I’m sharing my bag and favorite home/work coffee mug below as well. Accessories are the spice of life!
Printed Dress
J.Crew
I love the print on this dress because it’s fun, elevated, and also reads uniform enough to be neutral and paired with other prints! I plan to wear it now, on warm days, and layered with tights when the temperatures drop!
Off-White Sneaker
Madewell
There is nothing more chic and comfy that a simple white sneaker. This is a more warm tone, and makes any “casual” look instantly more sophisticated!
Black Faux Croc Mule
Chinese Laundry
I’ve been wearing these all summer, and plan to continue in to fall! The heel is the perfect height, and I love that they look great paired with a dress, shorts, and even denim. The black faux croc is so chic and doesn’t break the bank.
Twist Front Tee
Lulus
This top is simple enough to throw on, but special enough to seem like an actual outfit. I’m planning to pair mine with skirts and jeans– and topping with a blazer or sweater when it cools down!
Slip Skirt
Vince
This black slip skirt is a MUST. It’s so stylish and can be paired with a Tshirt, a more structured top, or a big chunky sweater. Such a closet staple! I love it in both colors offered.
Oversized Sunnies
Quay
I’ve recently fallen in love with Quay sunglasses because they’re so stylish and not expensive. I love this tortoise and black combo for Fall, I’ve been wearing them nonstop!
Classic Ankle Cut Denim
Levi's
The Levi’s Wedgie Jean is a cult classic for a reason. Don’t believe me? Try a pair! They fit well on everyone and are totally size-inclusive on the website. There are so many washes available, but I prefer this medium wash, or an ultra-light wash version.
Ruffle Sleeve Top
GAP
This top is so versatile and classic– and a great price point. It definitely looks more expensive than it is.
Classic Black Blazer
A classic black blazer is essential for any chic wardrobe. I love how just throwing a blazer on, or over my shoulders, can easily elevate a super simple look. The Alice and Olivia ones are my favorite — and a great investment piece.
Soft Pajamas
GAP
Last but not least….let’s lounge! I LOVE these super soft and classic pajama sets with piping. I always wear a full pajama set and they make me feel so ladylike. I love this pale grey version for end of Summer/Fall.
