Admittedly, I don’t follow football. But I AM HERE FOR A SUPER BOWL FOOD GROUP! I’m the person at any sports gathering with my hip glued to the snack table. Why are sports snacks just so much better than any other party snacks?!
Preheat the oven to 450º F and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a cooling rack on top and spray the rack with Olive Oil Spray.
Dry off all the wings using paper towels and squeezing out the moisture. You want them to be as dry as possible! Once dry, set aside.
Add the baking powder, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and cayenne to a large bowl, and mix until well combined.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the spices and toss to coat until all the wings are evenly covered.
Using a pair of kitchen tongs, arrange the chicken wings on the cooling rack on the baking sheet, an inch or more apart from each other. Bake on the top rack of your oven for 30 minutes, then flip the wings, and bake for another 30-45 minutes.
The wings will be done when they are crispy and a deep golden color.
Melt the butter in a sauce pot on the stove for about 2 minutes.
Add the buffalo sauce to the butter, and stir until well combined.
Add your chicken wings to the bowl, tossing until all the wings are evenly coated.
Serve with some celery, carrots, and dipping sauce of your choice!
For Air-Fryer Wings...
Preheat your air fryer to 400ºF for 5 minutes while you follow steps 2-4 (above).
Once heated, place the wings in an even layer in your air fryer basket and cook for 10-15 minutes.
After 10-15 minutes, flip your wings over with kitchen tongs, or by shaking the air fryer basket back and forth, and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes. (Times will vary depending on your air fryer wattage. Mine was 1700 watts, so if yours is lower, you may need to add more time).
Once your wings are nice and crispy, follow steps 7-10 (above) and enjoy!
