The main course of my shoe game happens to involve a hefty portion of Fall Flats. I just can’t seem to resist a great pair, which is made even more convenient by the fact that most of my faves can also shine in the Spring and Summer! Loafers? Yes, please. Elegant ballet flats? Absolutely. Delicate strap Mary-Janes? Don’t mind if I do. The perfect suede boot? DO YOU EVEN HAVE TO ASK?! In this era of my life, I find myself reaching for a chic but comfortable pair of flats over basically any shoe style. Even above sneakers! So many flats these days are just as comfy as sneakers, and end up being more versatile to dress up or down. Extra points for investment-style pieces made of long-lasting and durable materials. There’s a time and place for trendy purchases, of course, but I do find myself gravitating towards shoes that will stand the test of time more and more these days.
Today I’m sharing a roundup of my favorite flats for this season and beyond! Check them out below, and let me know which ones you like!
The Demi Jane
$275
These flats are a bit of an investment but OMG. They are the only shoe I can walk miles in that isn’t a sneaker. The leather is buttery soft and the fit is actual perfection. I loved these so much I bought my wedding shoes from them!
The Lug Loafer
$229
A loafer with stretch that is machine washable was NOT on my bingo card this year but I am so grateful I found it. My most worn shoe this fall so far.
The Square Mary Jane
$159
These Mary Janes are stupid comfy, and I am obsessed with the trendy red color. These are machine washable as well. They have more neutral colorways if the red is too bold for you!
Loraine Bit Loafer
$150
I have had these loafers for a few years and they always save me in a pinch. They truly go with any outfit, from denim to trousers, to skirts and dresses.
Jada Square Toe Ballet Flat
$350
I invested in these flats two summers ago and I’m still so glad I did. I wear them a ton, and they are very striking in person.
Michaela Mary Jane Flat
$130
These velvet flats have the prettiest buckle and I love the color! So great for dressing up fall ‘fits!
Logan crisscross Mary Jane ballet flats
$178
I got these towards the end of summer and have worn them even more than I expected to. They’re comfortable and look so cool with any outfit.
Natalie
$375
This is one of Sarah Flint’s iconic styles for a reason. They are SO comfortable, and this cobalt blue is stunning.
Mirjana Loafer
$395
This is one of my favorite brown loafers. They look so feminine and elegant and dress up even a simple T-shirt and jeans.
The Demi
$245
If you’re looking for THE black ballet flat, it’s these. Trust me. The leather is stunning and they’re so comfy.
Double-Strap Faux Leather Mary Jane Flats
$17.99
These flats are so cute for fall, and at under $20 they’re a must-have!
Faux Leather Oxford Shoe
$23.99
These faux leather oxfords are under $25 and I absolutely love how cute they look with trousers or a skirt!
The Greta Ballet Flat
$128
I had to have these grommet flats for fall. I love the color and the slightly square toe.
FlabelUS Randle Mary Janes
$140
I pick up simple velvet Mary Janes every time I go to Italy, and these are the closest I’ve found to the actual ones I buy. I love the color combo.
Madewell x G.H.BASS Whitney Weejuns® Loafers
$185
A driving moccasin is ALWAYS a good idea. This is the perfect creamy coffee color.
The Felize Shearling
$298
Shearling lined driving moccasins in Italian leather?!!! These shoes have my name written all over them for Xmas…
The Una
$248
I don’t know why but I SWOONED the second I laid eyes on these ballet-pink flats. I’m waiting for them to restock my size. See if they still have yours!
The Gia
$248
These bold loafers have a hidden platform in the heel and come in multiple colors.
