I’ve fallen in love with wallpaper. Our love affair started sometime in the past few years, and honestly, its bordering on unhealthy. Wallpaper the bathroom? GREAT! Wallpaper the dining room? PERFECT! Wallpaper the inside of the cabinets so only I know it’s there? OBVIOUSLY. So allow me to introduce you to one of my favorite design stores in LA, which is totally wallpaper-centric: Walnut!
Could the name be any cuter? I have used this store for most of my wallpapering projects, and I love how comprehensive the store is without being overwhelming. There is a long table where you can lay out samples and get inspired– I always walk away with a handful of samples to try out at home. I love the standing racks in this store because you can see the Walnut Wallpaper collection in larger surface area sizes, and move through them pretty quickly. I am drawn to more bold and graphic wallpaper, and they carry so many amazing options. I highly recommend visiting if you are searching for a design fix for a “blah” room!
But just remember, if you fall in love, WALLPAPER WAS MY BOYFRIEND FIRST!

I have a question! How do you pick a wall paper that isn’t too trendy that it will go out of style in a year? I love this idea for a bathroom!
Hi Betsy!
Wallpapering a bathroom is a great way to start with wallpaper! It’s how I fell in love at first 🙂
In terms of “trendiness” of wallpaper, I will tell you what I tell people all the time about Home Decor in general: LOVE IT AND IT WILL LAST! It’s that simple! Make sure you look at a lot of wallpaper samples, bring some home, and really sit with the decision for a month or so before you do it. When you see something you completely love in your space, you’ll know. Trust your taste!

You have such a unique taste in wallpaper, the one with multiple flowers that you have is so gorgeous! Plus all your photography in this blog is amazing!
Also, I just saw your Snapchat post and I think that an advice column would be incredible to have since people are facing different struggles everyday however so many people can relate and help them too.
Thanks, Tamika! Glad you like the idea.
Coming soon….;)
