Winter is upon us, and it’s time for a little beauty check-in to make sure our products are supporting our skin and hair in this harsher climate! Unless of course you live someplace that is warm and balmy in December, in which case I say to you: “Can we trade?” But I digress. This month, I’m focusing on looking fresh and vibrant for the Holidays, and I’ve found a few beauty products that are helping me achieve this! I hope you love them as much as I do!
Morrocan Oil Volumizing Mousse
In the Winter months, my hair can get really dry, especially since I love to style it with heating tools. I’d been looking for something that was moisturizing but that also allowed me to accomplish a voluminous, bouncy blowout easily. I just adore this product. It makes my hair really smooth, but also gives it a lift– plus it smells fantastic. I work a palm sized amount through my towel dried hair, then comb through to distribute and blow dry as usual with a round brush.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength
Get your glow back with this amazing peel! Whenever I’m not pregnant or breastfeeding I use some fabulous exfoliating peel pads to keep my skin really smooth and glowing– but they do contain chemicals that I am not comfortable using while pregnant or lactating! My skin had been looking so dull and tired, and I was so happy to discover Juice Beauty’s amazing Green Apple Peel! It works to slough off dead skin cells, and is totally natural and organic so I can feel great about using it no matter what stage I’m at in life. I apply a thin layer to clean, damp skin and then wait ten minutes before removing with warm water and following with a moisturizer.
Juice Beauty Luminous Lip Crayon, “Venice”
I feel like I’m always on the lookout for the perfect stash-in-your-purse everyday lip color. When it’s cold out, a lot of the easy applying lip crayons can dry out my lips. I’m loving this lip crayon right now because it glides on so easily and is super moisturizing– not to mention all natural! The color is the loveliest pinkish nude that can go with any makeup look.
My winter hat hair is crying out for some tlc have put the marrocan oil on my shopping list ? thank you, love your monthly tips!
Yay! Happy to help! xo
I’ve been looking for a new peel. I’ll have to try that one out!
The peel is sold out on their website! I’ll have to find it somewhere else. I can’t wait to try it — thanks for the tips as always!
If you click on the image at the bottom of my post, it will bring you to a site where it is not sold out!
I am a total “clean” beauty (i.e. safe, non-toxic, natural, plant-based, etc.) fanatic and have become kind of obsessed with Juice Beauty products, particularly everything in their Phyto-Pigments line (though sadly I tried the Green Apple Peel and it didn’t really agree with my skin haha…everyone’s different!). I just got a few of their lip pencils last week during a Cyber Monday sale and am loving them all. I actually think I’ve settled on one of them for my wedding lipstick next month!
My favorite recent acquisition is their and concealer…it has a really nice matte (but not overly so) finish and is really easy to apply.
Thanks for the tips, as always!
Oh amazing! Congrats on your upcoming nuptials!! 🙂
