My whole family looooves these, and what I love most about them is that you can make them semi-home-made if you want to! These delicious cookies start with a chocolate chip cookie base, and then are topped with a coating of melted white chocolate and sprinkled with crushed candy canes.
Bake your chocolate chip cookies, and leave to cool on a cooling rack.
Meanwhile, melt your chocolate chips in a double boiler over medium heat. I usually put about 1.5 inches of water in my double boiler, for reference. You can also melt the chips in a microwave safe bowl.
When nice and creamily melted, coat the chocolate chip cookies with a layer of white chocolate. While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle your candy cane bits over the tops of your cookies.
Place in a baking sheet in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to harden. Enjoy!
