Welcome to my first roundup of faves from the New Year! We are about to get gorge in the year ahead bb’s! I’ve been trying so many great new product recently, and of course I had to share some of the ones that have me coming back for more and more! In the winter months I always think it’s fun to pamper myself with bath and beauty products…it just ends up brightening the cold and dreary days when you need it the most! Without further ado, here’s what I’m obsessed with right now…
This new line of body care is super chic, and best of all– it’s uber healthy for you and your skin. I’m so obsessed with their body lotion in particular because it’s rich and moisturizing and contains vitamins and excellent skincare components that actually improve your skin. I use this after every bath and shower, and even in between when my skin is super dry from the weather.
I discovered this retinol serum with ceramides recently when I was traveling for a couple days. I had packed these capsules because they’re so easy to travel with, but during my trip I was amazed by how smooth and reinvigorated my skin looked when I used it nightly! I’ve been adding this to my night time routine ever since, and aIways top it with moisturizer.
Rita Hazan colors my hair, and she also colors the hair of some pretty outstanding people you may know of *cough* BEYONCE *cough*. So clearly she knows a thing or two about protecting hair, keeping it gorge, and making sure it’s thriving. She developed this weekly 2 step hair treatment to deeply condition and repair hair…especially color treated hair! I absolutely love it, and it instantly makes my hair feel refreshed. Once a week, after shampooing, I start with step 1. I apply to my hair, gently massage it through, and then rinse. Then I immediately apply step 2, massage it through, and rinse again. Presto!
This powder is such a makeup powerhouse! It’s so great for brightening up whichever areas of your face need it, and is especially powerful for contour and setting under eye makeup. I apply this loosely over my concealer, allow it to “bake” for a few minutes, and then gently pat in with a beauty blender, or gently sweep away with a brush. It instantly brightens and sets your makeup, and really lasts.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products and what you think of them!
