Spring has sprung (supposedly), and it’s still raining! We came from a town where there was a statewide declaration of emergency water levels, and now we are living in a town where my kid keeps a raincoat at school 24/7.  Changes!  I can’t do anything about the weather (I’ve tried.  My influence doesn’t reach that far up) but I can do something about my state of mind.  Namely, I gotta turn this weather frown upside down, and brighten my Spring spirit a bit.  I decided to invest in a few things that have tropical weather written all over them– starting with this adorable Pineapple print dress! It can be worn simply or funked up a bit with a leather jacket and more substantial accessories, to take it anyplace from Times Square to Bora Bora.  I wish I was going to Bora Bora– but, alas.  Anybody want to bring me there? Bueller….Bueller….?

Not sure if you’re still in Westchester, but I passed an all natural baby/pregnancy store in Bedford Hills and thought of you. Heads up if you haven’t discovered it yet! It exists!

    Hello Eva,
Its very true, the proper colors do help when the weather is only making the soil happy (great for the farmers! 🙂 ), brightens the mood.
Some very neat films from the 1980’s Hoosiers, was neat, Somewhere in Time, is a nice romantic film for the wise co leaders here at Mrs. Martinos superior blog.
My film and tv buffet I will be sampling this weekend of Memorial Day (although Labor Day used to be in May):
Election (hey football players can read the Celestine Prophecy, and apply it too!)
Quantum Leap (Can a man named after a successful writer, who is a time traveler, who is helping others to heal, find his way home?)
Beauty and the Geek (Will women of the symmetry (beauty, winners of the genetic lottery!), with men of symmetry of mind (geeks, minded ones, seers of patterns, cycles) be able to help the women of symmetry improve their minds, intelligence, while the women of symmetry help the minded ones with their style confidence? Prepare for laugher!! (with growth).
Once (Can two people who are musicians in Ireland overcome detours to make music?)
Star Trek V The Final Frontier (A film about friendship, amongst three very different people, but the journey leads them to god, then not god, bringing up a great question What is god?)
Tucker A Man and His Dream
(When you have a better idea, but others are not ready for it, which choice do you make? Tuckers story is helpful for anyone who desires to innovate.)

Ferris Buellers Day off is one of my favorite films. When someone needs a break from school, and goes to an art museum, that’s someone who sees an opportunity to learn from real life, and that learning should not be confined only to a classroom with paper tests.
For me the Love Bug quest continues, 62 Chevys are pretty neat, I also like 56 Chevys, however the quest for the racing journeying partner continues.

I hear there is a specialty cake shop opening near where I live, I’m excited, I love specialty cakes, but the owners have to have a proper plan, Business rule number one: Know your market.

Maybe they have some good coffee cake. I wish I could find a cake shop with cherry muffins, never seen those before. ~ “COFFEE TAAALLK!! Takes me back to Mike Myers with Barbara Streisand on Coffee Talk. “Have some good coffee with SOME talk!” ~ 😉

Bora Bora, in the pacific, one of the French peoples islands. Discovered by Captain Cook in the 18th century, in second grade I was Mr. Cook in a musical, I kept wanting to change my lines, so that’s why I became a writer. 😉
I look forward to your family sharing some of your Bora Bora pictures Eva, I hear that the botanicals are unique down there right?

Now a walk, some reading in a biography, then seeing a play an actress friend is in. Its about women who play golf together. 🙂
