My past few weeks spent on the East Coast have really gotten me craving Earthy, grounded tones.  Seeing the early Spring environment all around me– the damp moss, the everlasting evergreens,  the bare grey branches, the soft brown down of baby squirrels and chipmunks scurrying past their Mothers, the dark bodies of water slowly unfreezing.  I had forgotten these colors while living in Los Angeles.  In a season known mostly for pastels and cool tones heralding the approach of Summer, I’ve been finding comfort in the Mother Nature’s palette.  Living in the woods for the time being has made me living a little more slowly.  It’s forced me to, actually.  While this has brought a few daily frustrations, it has also reminded me that we all need a little quiet and comfort every now and again.  Today, I’m embracing the Earth Mother color palette, and an outfit that is as cozy as it is stylish!
