Eva Amurri Martino shares her favorite autumnal makeup look

I’m super excited to share my first makeup tutorial video with you guys! I’ve always loved doing makeup, and my fifteen years working as an actress gave me the most amazing opportunity to watch true masters at work.  I learned so many things about makeup during those years! I love trying new makeup products and new techniques, and watching tutorial videos is so interesting– I thought it would be fun to start making some of my own!

I made a video of my Five Minute Fresh Face Makeup a few years ago, and I still wear that makeup look a lot during the day, but I truly believe that as new products come out the makeup scene totally evolves! It’s really exciting to watch how innovative the cosmetic landscape is becoming.

This Fall, I’ve been loving experimenting with warmer colors, and especially more cabernet and gold tones.  Today I thought I would share an autumnal makeup look that I’ve been wearing a lot– it works well for day or night! Please let me know in the comments below if you like it, and if there are other tutorial video concepts you’d like to see!

I love this look, I use a shimmery wine color in my crease from time to time and I think it’s such an under utilized color. It’s a color that can make you eyes pop if you’re blue, green, hazel. I’d love to see more of these makeup tutorials, weekend errand make up, date night, wedding / event, day to evening (touching up your day time make up) make up, etc. I like your style, for me it’s very realistic. So many other makeup artist I follow do beautiful work but it’s too exaggerated and not so realistic for me. xx

Thanks for this video! Could you list the foundation and concealer color/shades you use, too? I have similar coloring to you, so it is helpful to see what foundation colors you use. Happy Fall!

  4. Eva,

I am obsessed with this makeup look! Perfect colors for fall. When you do lip liner do you follow the exact line of your lips or go a little beyond?

    • Thank you!!!

When I line them, I go right outside the lipline, but still touching the lipline if that makes sense. I LOVE the huda beauty lipliners that go with her liquid lipsticks. They’re so easy to use and really stay!

I just ordered the Benefit mascara! The one I usually get was out of stock, and I was trying to figure out which other one to try. Then I was like, duh, search Eva’s website for mascara and try one of those! Lol
