My friend, Megan Connerley, is the designer behind adorable Bow Wrap company Hot Sundae.  Our baby girls are the same age, and the other day at a play date she showed me a new fabric pattern that she said she thought I would love.  I flipped for it, and it inspired us to celebrate Motherhood (and Friendship!) with a fun one-two-punch of a coordinating cocktail recipe and limited edition Hot Sundae hair wrap!  I created a delicious Mojito that I think you’ll love–  Megan created the sick hair wrap– and we got together to have a yummy cocktail and some big laughs.

Berry Sundae Mojito (Makes 1 cocktail)

  • 1.5 ounces light rum
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 2 limes, cut in quarters
  • Tablespoon simple syrup
  • 1/2 cup assorted berries
  • 2-3 ounces champagne or prosecco
  • 1 cup ice, plus more for glass

DIRECTIONS:  Place the rum, 1 sprig of mint, simple syrup, berries, and limes in a cocktail shaker.  Muddle the fruit in to the liquid with a wooden spoon.  Add the ice to the mixture, cover and shake vigorously.  Strain in to a collins glass that has been filled halfway with ice. Top with champagne, and garnish with remaining mint sprig.  Enjoy responsibly!
